cant get ssl to work setting up Monit

Spread the love

I am trying to setup Monit on Ubuntu 16.04
It has installed and is running without problem
When I try to activate ssl for the http interface it does not work. Trying the url I get that the site does not allow it. The site force ssl so I must have it working
I have activated ssl in the config file and given the path to the letsencrypt certs we use for the site
When I try to restart after changing the config it fail. When I comment out the ssl settings it restarts without issues
Can anyone guide me please
