I have installed hplib for ubuntu 20. I can print a page from OfficeWriter but I cannot access scaning features as in Windows 10

Printer is HP OfficeJet Pro 8710. How do I access scanning GUI? Is there more than just installing hplib and creating a printer?
hplib: hplib.3.20.6.run
