Hi everyone linux noob here. I am planning to move to ubuntu from windows. I will be installing ubuntu on a 250GB SSD and I will be using a 1TB HDD for mass storage. I program using python and I will be installing a lot of packages. So my question was how do I make sure that all of these packages are installed on the HDD? I want this because These packages will end up taking a lot of space on the SSD. I need some help with knowing whether this is a good idea…. And how to do it ? submitted by /u/Abhrant_ [link] [comments]
