Spread the love

Note: I have faced issues installing TeamViewer in my Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS desktop.
Shall list out all the list of instructions that worked for me.
sudo apt update
sudo apt install file python3 python3-apt python3-debian xz-utils
sudo add-apt-repository universe
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gdebi-core
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt install gdebi-core wget
sudo apt-get update
wget -O ~/teamviewer.deb “”
sudo gdebi ~/teamviewer.deb
teamviewer [this will start the teamviewer application]

How to set up a permanent password in the TeamViewer settings of the remote machine.

Open the main window of the remote TeamViewer client and go to “Extras > Options > Security > Personal password”. Enter a password of your choice, enter it once again to confirm it and click on “apply” and “OK” at the bottom of the window to save your choices.

Hope it works.
Happy coding, let’s change the world with each line of great code.
