Stuck in initramfs at boot

Screen text reads:
“Error reading block 23108274 (input/output error).
“fsck excited with status code 4
Failure: file system check of the root filesystem failed
The root filesystem on /dev/sda5 requires a manual fsck”
At browsing askUbuntu, I found similar problems mentioned but the most probable solution failed to work.
Also, I don’t have a boot USB or similar so, if possible, a keyboard solution would be preferable.
