Ubuntu 18.04 doesn’t display on another screen

Spread the love

I’ve installed Ubuntu 18.04 today alongside with Windows 10 to my desktop.
I have two monitors, first one is HP V241p and other one is Sonicview VX3211-4K UHD.
I’ve installed Nvidia driver version 450.66
Graphic card is Nvidia Geforce 1060 3GB
When I plugged HP monitor to desktop, I can see Ubuntu Desktop just as it should be.
Strange thing is when I plugged in Sonicview’s HDMI to desktop, screen goes black.
Ctrl+Alt+F2 works though. So it can’t show the UI.
I tried several things including autoinstall drivers, remove and install again, different versions of drivers but nothing worked.
For both screens Windows10 works normal but Ubuntu doesn’t work for Sonicview.
How can I solve it? Any comment, idea would be helpful.
