I am experiencing weird visual glitches. Please help me. Before it started I changed my visual environment to GNOME (my computer was 18.04 at the time). There wasn’t any glitch. Then I upgraded to Ubuntu 20.04, the installation was successful, no errors. For upgrading I used sudo do-release-upgrade -d -f DistUpgradeViewGtk3 I found the instructions on ubuntu.com (the article). I restarted my computer, then I got Ubuntu 20.04 . Sadly, I had to leave my computer quickly, so I clicked Suspend and turned off the monitor. When I got back I got this: cursor was also something like that I forced a restart, it worked. I tried looking at the system logs, I found out that resizing that window fast will produce flashing of a same looking texture. And my app store or whatever it is called disappeared after the upgrade. It may help that every time I restarted the PC (even before the upgrade) I got this error: https://preview.redd.it/xco8xvp0o2851.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a558fcf96b6224cf56f7dc083e9f677c95195344 But every time I clicked OK, then everything went normal. Are these 2 error related? Can I fix at least 1 of them? Is there a way to get back my app store thing (Sorry I don’t remember the name of it). Aaaand there are 2 “Files” application. Please help me solve these errors. I you want more information, just ask me. submitted by /u/12ixerly [link] [comments]
